Bass Rocks III

This is one of my favorite paintings to recall. Nasty, cold and windy it was difficult keeping everything tied down and steady. The churning surf under threatening sky became a beautiful study of subtle green and blue greys. Moss covered rocks became black and the sloping shapes in the foreground full of life.
